Brewster Ambulance Service is growing and is adding experienced Fleet Mechanics to help keep our emergency vehicles operating safely and reliably 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Position Summary
Our Fleet Mechanics play a critical role in maintaining the ambulances and support vehicles that serve our communities.
You'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready to respond.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ambulances and fleet vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ensure vehicles meet DOT, DMV, DPH and company compliance standards Complete inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records Respond quickly to repair needs to minimize vehicle downtime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work collaboratively with operations to keep vehicles mission-ready Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional fleet or automotive mechanic experience Strong diagnostic, mechanical and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of DOT and DMV regulations Emergency vehicle repair experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Why Brewster?
