About the Role
AJI Rentals is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead fleet, workshop, and transport operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all workshop, fleet, transport, and yard operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective service delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance activities to maximize fleet reliability and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Lead recruitment, performance management, coaching, and development of workshop and technical teams
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational systems, procedures, and best practices
- Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements
- Manage maintenance, functionality, safety, and continuous improvement of workshop facilities and infrastructure
- Oversee fleet and transport operations, ensuring optimum fleet utilization and cost control
- Collaborate with Operations and Senior Management to support operational planning and strategic objectives
- Identify operational and logistical improvement opportunities and drive a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet, workshop, maintenance, or transport operations
- At least 5 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound knowledge of HSE regulations, fleet compliance, and operational safety
- Excellent planning, organisational, problem solving, and process improvement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience managing heavy vehicle fleets, transport logistics, or construction equipment (desirable)
- Knowledge of fleet management software and maintenance management systems (desirable)

Your Role
- Lead and manage all workshop, fleet, transport, and yard operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective service delivery.

- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience establishing or expanding fleet operations (desirable).
