Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Fleet Manager will oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, routing, and dispatch to ensure timely and efficient support for cleaning teams across multiple sites.
The role includes monitoring vehicle performance and maintenance, coordinating repairs and inspections, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and company standards.
The Fleet Manager will track fuel usage and operating costs, analyze fleet data, and recommend improvements to optimize utilization and reduce downtime.
Responsibilities also include supervising drivers, organizing training, maintaining documentation and records, and collaborating closely with operations, procurement, and scheduling teams to support service delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations to oversee day-to-day vehicle utilization and coordination.
- Strong background in Operations Management to align fleet activities with service schedules and operational priorities.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations or equivalent transport and safety standards, with the ability to apply them to company fleet policies and procedures.
- Analytical Skills to interpret fleet data, track key performance indicators, and implement efficiency and cost-control measures.
- Proven experience managing drivers or logistics teams, with the ability to plan routes, optimize schedules, and handle incident escalation.
- Proficiency with fleet management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Prior experience in facilities services, cleaning services, logistics, or transportation in the UAE is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license and familiarity with routes and traffic patterns in Dubai and surrounding emirates.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
