Role Description

  • The Fleet & Heavy Equipment Operations Supervisor is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
  • This role oversees daily operations of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, including scheduling, deployment, and monitoring utilization to meet project requirements.
  • The supervisor ensures proper maintenance practices, coordinates with workshop teams, and supports compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Responsibilities include supervising operators and drivers, tracking performance, handling incident reports, and optimizing operational workflows.
  • The role also involves working closely with project managers and logistics teams to align equipment availability with job timelines and cost targets.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and hands on guidance for drivers and equipment operators.
  • Candidates should possess Operations and Operations Management skills to coordinate fleet movements, manage schedules, and improve utilization and productivity.
  • Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to review operational data, track KPIs, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, coordination with internal stakeholders, and instructions to on site teams.
  • Relevant experience in fleet management, heavy equipment operations, or logistics within construction, oil and gas, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance practices, and basic mechanical concepts related to heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, manage shifting priorities, and operate in a fast paced, project driven environment.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
