Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, including scheduling, deployment, and monitoring utilization to meet project requirements
- Ensure proper maintenance practices, coordinate with workshop teams, and support compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Supervise operators and drivers, track performance, handle incident reports, and optimize operational workflows
- Work closely with project managers and logistics teams to align equipment availability with job timelines and cost targets
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and hands on guidance for drivers and equipment operators
- Operations and operations management skills to coordinate fleet movements, manage schedules, and improve utilization and productivity
- Analytical skills to review operational data, track KPIs, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting, coordination with internal stakeholders, and instructions to on site teams
- Relevant experience in fleet management, heavy equipment operations, or logistics within construction, oil and gas, or related industries
- Knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance practices, and basic mechanical concepts related to heavy equipment
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, manage shifting priorities, and operate in a fast paced, project driven environment
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred

Role Description
- The Fleet & Heavy Equipment Operations Supervisor is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
