Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to timelines.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of asset management strategies and plans.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to optimize team performance and meet project deadlines.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address issues promptly.
  • Partner University Coordination: Liaise with partner universities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Client Coordination: Liaise with partner universities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Management and Reconciliation: Ensure all tag data are entered into the SPAN System and reconcile SPAN data with the Fixed Asset Register monthly.
  • Operational Coordination: Responsible for coordinating day to day operations, including supervision, staff training, performance planning, quality control monitoring, issue management, and resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports on asset management activities and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Education

  • Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or Business Studies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and especially Excel.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable advantage.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Exceptional abilities in organizing tasks and managing time.
  • Confidentiality: Proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Interpersonal & Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer centric approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering accuracy.
  • Reconciliation Experience: Extensive experience in performing reconciliations.
  • Initiative & Ad hoc Task Management: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and handle ad hoc tasks.
  • Supervisory Skills: Proven ability to lead and supervise teams effectively.
  • Professional Experience: At least ten (10) years of administrative experience, including five (5) years of supervisory responsibilities in Inventory & Asset Management field.
