About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fault diagnosis on heavy mobile and fixed plant to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
- Supervise and provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to tradespersons and other maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements, and relevant regulations, while identifying and managing workplace risks.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and work areas, and complete required maintenance documentation, including worksheets, oil sampling, and daily records.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives, including pre-starts, toolbox talks, maintenance meetings, shift handovers, and incident investigations to support a strong safety culture.
