Arabian Fiber Optic Cable Manufacturing LLC is urgently hiring an experienced Fitter for its Maintenance Department in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The role involves performing preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery, diagnosing mechanical faults, and repairing components.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize machine downtime
- Install, assemble, dismantle, and maintain mechanical equipment
- Replace and repair bearings, shafts, gears, belts, chains, couplings, and other mechanical components
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain 5S standards
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter Trade, or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing industry is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use maintenance tools
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience in cable manufacturing or continuous process industries will be an added advantage
