Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day site activities for interior fit out projects, ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor progress against schedules and support the resolution of technical and site related challenges
- Conduct inspections, maintain site documentation, enforce safety procedures, and verify compliance with local regulations and company guidelines
- Report on project status and collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement practical, cost effective solutions on site
Requirements
- Strong on site supervision skills with experience managing interior fit out or civil construction activities
- Effective communication and coordination skills for liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
- Quality control skills, including the ability to inspect works, identify non conformities, and ensure standards and specifications are met
- Structural engineering knowledge or a civil engineering background suitable for interpreting drawings and technical details
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, with relevant site experience in fit out or construction projects
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and standard construction practices in the UAE and KSA
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using basic project documentation and reporting tools; experience with AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines

Role Description
- The Fitout Site Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
