Responsibilities
- Oversee fit out projects from design coordination through execution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and sustainability requirements
- Review drawings and shop details, coordinate with interior designers, MEP engineers, and subcontractors
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Manage project schedules, support material selection and approvals, and resolve technical issues on site
- Prepare project documentation, report to project management, and collaborate closely with clients and consultants to deliver high quality, on time fit out solutions
Requirements
- Candidates should possess strong fit out engineering skills, including experience in interior works, MEP coordination, and technical installation oversight
- Candidates should possess project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication
- Candidates should possess technical design and documentation skills, such as reading and interpreting drawings, preparing reports, and managing site records
- Candidates should possess quality, safety, and sustainability skills, including familiarity with local building codes, HSE practices, and green building principles
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; professional certifications in project management or sustainability are an advantage
- Previous experience in interior fit out projects in the UAE or GCC region, particularly in commercial, retail, or hospitality sectors, is highly beneficial
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar design tools, and MS Office; familiarity with AI driven or digital project management platforms is a plus

Role Description
- The Fitout Engineer is a full time, on site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- This role is responsible for overseeing fit out projects from design coordination through execution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Day to day tasks include reviewing drawings and shop details, coordinating with interior designers, MEP engineers, and subcontractors, and conducting site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- The Fitout Engineer will manage project schedules, support material selection and approvals, and resolve technical issues on site.
- This role also involves preparing project documentation, reporting to project management, and collaborating closely with clients and consultants to deliver high quality, on time fit out solutions.
