- Instruct group fitness classes (e.g., aerobics, spinning, strength training) at all ability levels
- Provide advice to individuals on correct exercise methods with fitness equipment
- Assess individual's current exercise program and fitness level to develop personalized programs
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
- Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
- Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive
- Clean and maintain recreational area, equipment, and supplies
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Fitness Instruction certification or training as required by local agencies

Position Summary
