Fit-Out Site Supervisor/Senior Engineer

Role Objective

Site Execution and Leadership

• Lead the site team and distribute daily tasks among engineers, inspectors, technicians, and workers.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, execution targets, and actual performance.
• Make field technical decisions and resolve issues that could delay execution.
• Train and guide team members and hold underperformers accountable under company policy.

Drawings and Coordination

• Review architectural, electrical, mechanical, and finishing drawings before execution.
• Prepare, review, and modify shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ensure the latest approved drawing versions are used on site.
• Coordinate project components and work with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Construction and Systems

• Supervise drywall, plastering, insulation, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting, carpentry, marble, glass, steel curtains, doors, facades, and decoration works.
• Monitor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and camera works.
• Ensure each item is ready before handover to the next trade to prevent rework.

Materials and Commercial Control

• Inspect materials before use and verify compliance with specifications and approved samples.
• Measure actual quantities and review BOQ and material requirements.
• Issue material requests in advance and monitor consumption to reduce shortages and waste.
• Review subcontractor invoices against executed quantities and document approved variation orders.

Reporting and Handover

• Prepare daily and weekly reports covering progress, labor, materials, obstacles, and photographs.
• Prepare inspection and acceptance requests and follow up on approvals.
• Prepare snag lists, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
• Lead final handover and ensure all remarks are closed on time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of practical experience executing fit-out projects.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary execution teams.
• Experience with hotels, restaurants, cafes, offices, exhibitions, or retail outlets.
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and modifying execution drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is preferred.

Technical and Leadership Skills

• Experience with quantity surveying, BOQ, and variation orders.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials and execution and acceptance methods.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 knowledge is preferred.
• Technical English proficiency and project-related correspondence skills.
• Valid driving license and ability to travel between project sites.

Work Setting

• The role is field-based and requires on-site fit-out project execution.
• The candidate must be able to travel between project sites.
