Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior design and fit out projects, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and timelines.
- Review drawings and specifications, conduct quantity take offs, and coordinate with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Analyze bids, update cost databases, track project costs, and prepare reports to support decision making.
- Participate in site visits, attend project meetings, and support the tendering and negotiation process.
Requirements
- Strong skills in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and budget preparation for interior design and fit out projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Experience using estimation and project management software, as well as MS Excel and other relevant digital tools.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, finishes, fit out methods, and local market pricing in the UAE.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Previous experience in fit out, interior contracting, or construction estimation within the UAE is a must.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering.
