First Line Manager - nights

Pay Rate: £36,039.89 plus 10% between 6pm-10pm and 20% between 10pm-6am Grade: RCS O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Working 4 on, 4 off, 6pm-6am Location: Bury - Manchester

We are looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse First Line Manager to join our operations team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing a team of warehouse colleagues, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and a strong culture of safety and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse supervisor or team leader looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse colleagues to achieve operational targets
• Drive a culture of health, safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with all site procedures and legislation
• Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality and service KPIs are achieved
• Monitor and improve team performance through coaching, training and regular feedback
• Conduct performance reviews, absence management and return-to-work discussion
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and effective operational performance
• Manage resources effectively to meet changing customer demands and business requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams
• Strong people management and communication skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
