About the Role
Invitronics MedTech is developing next-generation medical devices, including multi-parameter patient monitors and other connected healthcare technologies.
The role is for a hands-on Senior Firmware Engineer who will develop reliable embedded firmware and help move existing patient-monitor firmware toward production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-grade firmware using Embedded C and C++.
- Develop and architect firmware on STM32 and ARM Cortex-M platforms, preferably STM32H7 and Cortex-M7.
- Develop FreeRTOS or other RTOS-based applications.
- Develop drivers and integrate sensors, displays, memory, and peripherals.
- Work with UART, SPI, I²C, DMA, interrupts, and timers.
- Design modular, scalable firmware architecture and develop display and memory subsystems.
- Integrate ECG, SpO₂, NIBP, temperature, respiration, and other patient-monitor functions.
- Debug hardware-firmware integration using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD.
- Implement watchdogs, fault handling, diagnostics, bootloaders, and firmware updates.
- Optimize firmware for reliability, performance, and memory usage.
- Collaborate with hardware, biomedical, and software teams; support verification, validation, and productionization.
- Mentor junior firmware engineers and interns.
