About the Role

- Implement make safe or temporary repairs when required and escalate major component replacement
- Verify and test corrective maintenance works, ensuring compliance to standards and Defence policies
Requirements
- Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspection
- Fire Protection Accreditation (FPAA) or FPAS Accreditation (NSW)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
- Post trade experience in fire systems fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance and repair
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis, fault finding and compliance testing
- Experience responding to unplanned or reactive work orders within required response times

Role Overview
- Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across NSW/ACT and QLD.
- We're inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at Randwick Barracks as a Fire Systems Technician.

What You'll Bring
