Responsibilities
- Design, install, inspect, and maintain fire suppression systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate fire risks and determine system requirements
- Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot technical issues and document findings and recommendations
- Prepare technical reports and coordinate with project managers, contractors, and authorities
- Train customers on system usage and basic maintenance
- Support proposals and estimates for fire protection projects
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fire prevention and fire safety principles
- Experience with life safety standards and practices
- Hands on expertise in fire protection and fire suppression systems, including design, installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance
- Familiarity with fire detection, alarm, and control systems, as well as relevant international and local codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, UAE Fire Code)
- Technical or engineering background in fire protection, mechanical, electrical, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g., NICET, NFPA training)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system schematics
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel locally within the region, visit job sites, and work in the field as needed

Role Description
- The Fire Suppression Specialist is a full time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work at customer locations and some work from home flexibility.
- Design, install, inspect, and maintain fire suppression systems in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct site assessments, perform system testing and commissioning, troubleshoot technical issues, and document findings and recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports, coordinate with project managers, contractors, and authorities, and train customers on system usage and basic maintenance.
- Support proposals and estimates, ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of fire protection solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of fire prevention and fire safety principles, with the ability to assess and mitigate fire risks in various facilities.
- Experience with life safety standards and practices, including integration of fire systems with broader life safety and emergency response plans.
- Hands on expertise in fire protection and fire suppression systems, including design, installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with fire detection, alarm, and control systems, as well as relevant international and local codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, UAE Fire Code).
- Technical or engineering background in fire protection, mechanical, electrical, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage (e.g., NICET, NFPA training).
