The Fire Fighting Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems and equipment at client sites in Qatar.
This contract, on site role involves routine checks of fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and related systems to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
The technician will perform troubleshooting and repairs, document inspection results, and support periodic audits and safety drills.
Daily tasks include coordinating with site supervisors, responding to service requests, and ensuring all tools and materials are used safely and efficiently.
The role also requires maintaining accurate records, following company protocols, and supporting continuous improvement of fire safety practices on site.

Relevant technical skills in installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to Qatar and the wider region.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and safety equipment in an industrial or construction environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and coordination with clients and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to work safely, follow standard operating procedures, and adhere to health and safety policies.
Previous experience in fire fighting, fire safety, or a related technical field; experience in Qatar or GCC region is an advantage.
Relevant technical certification or diploma in fire protection, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline; additional fire safety certifications are a plus.
Capacity to work on site in varying environmental conditions, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.
