Fintech - EPM - Gignow - IBM Cognos - Senior

We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos Senior BI Consultant / Solution Architect with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise business intelligence solutions using the IBM Cognos Analytics platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in report development, data modeling, performance optimization, and analytics delivery within complex enterprise environments.

This role requires the ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions that support strategic business decision-making.

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x) , including:

Report Studio / Reporting

Dashboarding and Data Modules

Framework Manager (FM)

Expertise in Framework Manager modeling , including:

Star and Snowflake schema modeling

Creation of namespaces, query subjects, relationships, determinants, and filters

Governor settings and performance tuning

Proficient in developing:

Pixel-perfect reports

Drill-through and prompt-driven reports

Bursting reports and scheduling jobs

Strong SQL skills with experience working on relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Snowflake .

Experience in integrating Cognos with enterprise data warehouses and ETL frameworks.

Experience developing interactive dashboards and visual analytics using Cognos Analytics.

Strong understanding of complex calculations, including YTD, MTD, QTD, rolling averages, and custom KPIs .

Knowledge of security configuration , including user roles, groups, row-level security, and object-level access.

Experience enabling data consumption for downstream analytics or reporting tools where applicable.

Minimum 5 years A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar position with relevant experience. Required
