Sign Works FZ LLC seeks an experienced Finishing Carpenter to fabricate, assemble, and install joinery, furniture, and fixtures in workshop and client sites. Requires 3+ years of carpentry experience, ability to read shop drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation layouts
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, plywood, laminate, and related materials
- Operate hand and power tools (circular saw, router, planer, drill, nail gun) and basic workshop machinery safely
- Carry out site installation of cabinets, wardrobes, doors, partitions, counters, cladding, and fixtures
- Take accurate site measurements before fabrication and verify against drawings
- Fix hardware — hinges, drawer slides, handles, locks, and closers — and ensure smooth operation
- Perform finishing work: sanding, edge banding, filling, touch ups, and alignment
- Complete snagging, repairs, and modifications identified during handover
- Maintain tools, keep the work area clean, and follow HSE requirements including PPE
- Coordinate with electricians, painters, and other trades on site
- Report material shortages, delays, or drawing discrepancies to the supervisor
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience as a carpenter/installer in joinery, fit out, or furniture
- Ability to read technical and shop drawings
- Skilled with hand and power tools; knowledge of wood, MDF, veneer, laminate, and hardware
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
- Physically fit; able to lift materials and work at height
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends when site schedules require
