Role Overview
The employer is seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter for interior finishing work.
The role requires accurate execution of technical drawings, shop drawings, and design details.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand drawings, dimensions, and design details.
- Carry out carpentry and finishing work according to approved drawings.
- Cut, install, assemble, and finish woodwork accurately.
- Install doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, skirting, decorative elements, and other interior carpentry.
- Verify measurements before fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades.
- Report discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Complete work within the required project timeline.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a finishing carpenter.
- Ability to read and accurately follow technical and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to take measurements and work accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interior renovation or fit-out experience is preferred.
- Residential villa and apartment renovation experience is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
