Financial Services Tech Consulting Manager - WAM, Asset Management - Aladdin

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning activities with BlackRock and BlackRock Client key stakeholders to complete the following: Define overall project plan and lead multiple Aladdin implementation and enhancement projects end-to-end, from requirements through deployment and stabilization.
• Lead BlackRock migration activities including environment readiness, data migration, regression testing and coordinating with infrastructure teams.
• Define the Aladdin and Aladdin Data Cloud implementation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality and compliance.
• Drive and oversee Aladdin platform configuration, compliance rule setup, workflows, and integration points across modules.
• Document BlackRock Client provided use-cases into a use-case catalogue.
• Review asset class workflows provided by BlackRock Client to support organization of asset class prioritization plans within the Project Plan.
• Assist BlackRock with creating/maintaining project key issue tracker to log & triage issues, liaising with Aladdin Client Transformation (ACT) teams to coordinate and drive for issue resolution.
• Assist BlackRock with Governance reports (including status meeting updates, upcoming period deliverables, past due project items, percent task completion, and identifying responsible parties).
• Project Closure Report including BlackRock Client sign offs of the deliverables at the end of the project.
• Manage a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, technical guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional communication between front, middle and back-office teams, translating complex technical topics into clear business language.
• Promote best practices in system configuration, change management and delivery methodology ensuring consistent project execution across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company
• 3+ years of hands-on Aladdin experience
• Demonstrated experience leading and supporting Aladdin implementations
• Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
• Willingness and ability to travel, you must hold a passport and a valid drivers license

• The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500.
• The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200.
• Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
