Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual financial plan in alignment with strategic objectives
- Oversee the preparation of general budgets and ensure adherence to them
- Establish and regularly update financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding improving financial status and profitability
- Oversee the preparation of accounting entries and financial statements according to established standards
- Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Supervise periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the safety of financial assets
- Prepare financial and analytical reports (quarterly and annually)
- Analyze cost variances and monitor discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures
- Evaluate financial performance across different departments and propose improvements
- Prepare cash flow analyses and monthly forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity
Requirements
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications, along with accounting software
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial policies, and regulations
- Familiarity with other business processes (operations, supply chain, marketing, human resources)
- Advanced financial analysis skills and deep understanding of financial statements and economic indicators
- Strong experience in preparing budgets and strategic financial reports
- Ability to develop effective financial policies and improve internal controls
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills when dealing with banks, suppliers, and clients
- Strategic thinking and decision making capability based on financial analysis

Overall Job Purpose
- Oversee the complete financial management for a leading manufacturing company in the Middle East, ensuring asset protection, enhancing financial efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations.
- Provide support to senior management in strategic decision making through accurate financial analysis and comprehensive reporting related to the business portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Management: Prepare annual financial plan, oversee budgets, establish policies, provide recommendations.
