About The Role
We are seeking a Financial Manager / Financial Controller to lead the financial function of a growing international trading and manufacturing-focused business.
The role will require regular business trips to India.
The role combines **financial planning, manufacturing cost analysis (valves), and UAE regulatory compliance**, with direct involvement in operational and strategic decision-making.
This position is ideal for a candidate who understands not only finance, but also **how products are costed, manufactured, and delivered in an international environment**.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead **monthly financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis**
- Develop and maintain **financial models** for projects, tenders, and pricing decisions
- Perform **detailed manufacturing cost analysis**, including:
- Casting and raw material costing (weight-based, yield, scrap)
- Machining, assembly, and testing costs
- Analyze and optimize **unit economics and product profitability**
- Prepare **management reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis**
- Manage **CAPEX and OPEX**, including cost control and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with **IFRS accounting standards**
- Oversee **inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)**
- Ensure compliance with **UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations**
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
- Manage **banking operations, cash flow, and working capital**
- Oversee payments to manufacturers and suppliers
- Manage trade finance instruments (LCs, guarantees)
- Review and manage **financial aspects of contracts** with customers and manufacturers
- Oversee documentation flow, including invoices and shipment documents
- (AWB, Sea Waybill, Bill of Lading)
- Work closely with **engineering, procurement, and accounting teams**
- **Requirements**
- **Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field**
- 5–10 years of experience in financial analysis, management
- **Strong experience in manufacturing / industrial costing**
- **Knowledge of valve manufacturing or heavy engineering is a strong advantage**
- **Solid understanding of IFRS**
- **Experience with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT**
- **Experience in international trade and banking operations**
- **Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills**
- **Spoken Hindi will be an advantage.**
- Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
- Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dubai (Dubai)
