About the Role
We are an ultra-premium health performance company seeking a Financial Manager to build and own the entire finance function. You will handle UAE compliance, accounting, team building, financial planning, and systems implementation.

Responsibilities
- Full ownership of UAE VAT compliance filing, reporting, and ensuring company wide adherence
- Maintain compliance with Meydan Free Zone financial regulations and all applicable UAE financial law
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Oversee and manage the full accounting function AP, AR, reconciliation, payroll, and reporting
- Build and enforce accounting policies and financial controls across the company
- Manage multi currency transactions across Wio Bank, Mercury, and Wise
- Identify gaps in the finance function and hire accordingly
- Produce monthly P&L statements, cash flow reports, and financial summaries for the founder
- Build and maintain a rolling 3–12 month financial forecast
- Select, implement, and manage the right accounting software for the business
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in financial management, senior accounting, or as a financial specialist
- Proven, hands on experience with UAE VAT compliance and filing
- Knowledge of UAE Free Zone financial regulations
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to a full finance function
- Track record of building or managing a finance/accounting team
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or equivalent ERP)
- Multi currency account management experience
- Zero error standard
- Excellent written English

- We are scaling rapidly and need someone who can build and own the financial infrastructure of a high growth company operating out of a UAE Free Zone.
The Role
- You will own the entire finance function and build it out from the ground up.
- That means hiring, structuring the accounting team, implementing the right systems, establishing financial controls, and ensuring every department is operating within clear financial guidelines.
- You report directly to the founder.
What You'll Own
- Full ownership of UAE VAT compliance filing, reporting, and ensuring company wide adherence
- Maintain compliance with Meydan Free Zone financial regulations and all applicable UAE financial law
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Ensure audit ready financial documentation at all times
- Oversee and manage the full accounting function AP, AR, reconciliation, payroll, and reporting
- Build and enforce accounting policies and financial controls across the company
- Ensure every team member and department is adhering to established financial procedures
- Manage multi currency transactions across Wio Bank, Mercury, and Wise
- Review and approve invoices, contractor payments, and client billing
- Identify gaps in the finance function and hire accordingly
- Train and manage the finance team, setting clear KPIs and standards
- Build a finance department that operates independently and to a world class standard
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in financial management, senior accounting, or as a financial specialist
- Mandatory: proven, hands on experience with UAE VAT compliance and filing
- Knowledge of UAE Free Zone financial regulations
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to a full finance function
- Track record of building or managing a finance/accounting team
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or equivalent ERP)
- Multi currency account management experience
- Zero error standard numbers are either right or wrong
- Excellent written English all reports must be founder ready
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification (strong preference)
- Experience working in a UAE Free Zone company (Meydan, DIFC, DMCC, or similar) (strong preference)
- Direct reporting to a founder or C suite (strong preference)
What Success Looks Like
- Month 1–2: Audit & Foundation Full audit of existing financial records completed; UAE VAT position assessed; Accounting software selected and implemented; Financial controls documented
- Month 3–6: Ownership Full AP/AR cycle running independently; Monthly P&L and cash flow reports delivered consistently; Rolling 3 month cash flow forecast live; Finance team hiring plan proposed
- Month 7–12: Scale Finance team hired and operational; 12 month financial model built and maintained; All departments operating within financial guidelines; Scalable financial infrastructure in place
