Financial & Investment Research Analyst (Remote | $70–$110/hr)

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated valuation models, investment recommendations, industry analyses, and financial research reports.
• Compare AI-generated outputs for analytical rigor, valuation accuracy, investment thesis quality, and financial reasoning.
• Review company valuation, financial modeling, capital structure, portfolio management, and investment decision-making scenarios.
• Assess financial content for accuracy, completeness, logical consistency, and real-world applicability.
• Provide detailed written feedback and professional evaluations of AI-generated work.
• Help establish evaluation standards for finance and investment-focused AI systems.
• Contribute finance expertise to improve AI model reasoning and analytical capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in a relevant financial or investment analysis role.
• Experience with financial modeling, company valuation, investment analysis, or portfolio research.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, capital markets, and investment frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate complex financial analyses with professional judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication and ability to provide clear analytical feedback.
• Ability to commit at least 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in equity research, asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or portfolio management is preferred.
• CFA, CPA, FRM, CAIA, or an equivalent professional credential is preferred.
• Experience reviewing investment memos, research reports, valuation models, or financial recommendations is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted financial tools, data platforms, or quantitative research workflows is preferred.
• Experience mentoring analysts or contributing to financial training programs is preferred.

Compensation

• Compensation is $70 to $110 per hour.
• Payments are made weekly.
• The engagement is as an independent contractor.
