Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s finance function and provide financial guidance to Executive Management
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, working capital, receivables, payables, and collections
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit, and statutory requirements
- Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, financial policies, and risk management practices
- Support aviation related financial operations including flight support, fuel, ground handling, etc.
- Manage banking relationships, auditors, tax advisors, consultants, and external financial partners
- Lead, develop, and improve the performance of the finance team
- Improve finance systems, reporting dashboards, automation, and process efficiency
Requirements
- 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior finance management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit requirements, and financial compliance
- Experience in aviation, logistics, transportation, or related service based companies preferred
- Excellent command of English

Job Overview

- WeDo HR Services is supporting a well established aviation services and flight support company.
- This is a senior finance leadership opportunity requiring a balance between strategic leadership and hands on operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s finance function and provide financial guidance to Executive Management.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, working capital, receivables, payables, and collections.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, financial policies, and risk management practices.
- Support aviation related financial operations including flight support, fuel, ground handling, supplier settlements, client billing, and multi currency transactions.
- Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and HR teams.
- Manage banking relationships, auditors, tax advisors, consultants, and external financial partners.
- Lead, develop, and improve the performance of the finance team.
- Improve finance systems, reporting dashboards, automation, and process efficiency.
Required Profile
- 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, including senior finance management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, audit, taxation, and internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit requirements, and financial compliance.
- Experience in aviation, logistics, transportation, travel, fuel services, ground handling, or international service based companies is highly preferred.
- Experience in multi entity, multi currency, or international operations is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, reporting, and business partnering skills.
- Excellent command of English. Arabic is an advantage.
