Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations of the hotel
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with UAE financial regulations
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Control hotel operating costs and improve financial efficiency
- Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability
- Review and approve financial transactions and payments
- Manage month end and year end closing activities
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
- Work closely with hotel departments to improve cost management and profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in financial management
- Strong hospitality/hotel industry background is mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of hotel accounting operations and financial controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage

Job Summary

- Previous experience as Financial Controller / Chief Accountant / Finance Manager in a hotel
- Experience working with international hotel brands is preferred
- Candidates currently available in UAE are preferred
