Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Own and manage the monthly financial close process.
- Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Consolidate financial results across the Estonian, Cypriot, and UK entities.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and the general ledger is accurate.
- Prepare variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Develop and maintain relevant financial and operational KPIs.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts.
- Work with department heads to understand performance and key financial drivers.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Support management with scenario analysis and financial modelling.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Maintain short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit control.
- Monitor the company's cash position, working capital, and supplier payment cycles.
- Ensure appropriate banking and payment controls are in place.
- Tax, Compliance & Audit
- Manage the annual statutory accounts process and coordinate external audits.
- Ensure VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers, and other professional advisers across relevant jurisdictions.
- Processes & Controls
- Continuously improve finance processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Ensure the finance function operates efficiently and provides accurate and reliable information to management; and
- Any other duties relevant to the role.
