About the Role

The role combines financial knowledge with data analytics and business intelligence skills.

Analyze financial and operational data, prepare management reports, develop forecasts and models, monitor KPIs, and convert complex data into management insights.

The role involves working with Excel, Power BI, financial models, AI, accounting data, and large datasets.

Financial Analysis and Planning

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis for each property.
Analyze revenue versus cost for each property.
Prepare budget-versus-actual analysis and identify significant variances.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Analyze profitability and ROI by project, property, product, or business segment.
Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and support management decisions.

Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

Collect, clean, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, AI, and Excel.
Track business KPIs and provide actionable insights.
Analyze revenue, collections, occupancy, renewals, expenses, and other operational metrics.
Combine financial and non-financial data to identify business performance drivers.
Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.

Management Reporting

Prepare regular MIS and management reports.
Develop executive dashboards showing key financial and operational KPIs.
Provide commentary explaining major movements and variances.
Present findings and recommendations to management clearly and concisely.
Prepare ad hoc analysis based on management requirements.

Forecasting and Business Planning

Develop monthly and annual revenue forecasts.
Analyze historical trends to improve forecasting accuracy.
Perform what-if and scenario analysis for business decisions.
Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, acquisitions, renewals, and other initiatives.
Monitor actual performance against forecast and update assumptions.

Process Improvement and Automation

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes.
Automate repetitive Excel and reporting activities.
Build standardized reporting templates and dashboards.
Improve data collection, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy.
Work with Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure reliable data.

Required Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel.
AI tools, including Codex or Clued.
Power BI.
Financial modelling and financial analysis.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Management reporting and KPI analysis.
Automation and reporting tools.

Preferred Technical Skills

SQL, Python, Power Query, and DAX are good to have.
ERP or accounting software experience, including Zoho or Tally, is good to have.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5–7 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Business Analytics, MIS, or Data Analytics.
Strong knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A preferred profile is ACCA or CMA, or a finance graduate with Power BI and advanced Excel.
Alternatively, the profile may be a data or business analytics graduate with strong finance and analysis knowledge.
The candidate should analyze numbers, explain movements, identify trends, and provide recommendations rather than only prepare reports.
