Role Overview
Avison Young’s Vancouver office is seeking a Financial Analyst to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with senior Capital Markets brokers.
The role supports financial analysis, market research, transaction materials, brokerage pursuits, and production workflow.
Compensation
- The estimated base salary is $50,000 to $65,000, with potential additional compensation through a bonus.
- The range reflects base compensation across Canadian locations, with individual pay determined by location, education, experience, training, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
- Produce financial models using Argus and Excel, including detailed cash-flow, pro forma, and development models.
- Assist with deal structuring, scheduling, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for project deliverables.
- Write proposals, offering materials, presentation materials, and pitch materials for assignments and pursuits.
- Conduct market surveys covering sales and lease comparables.
- Support brokerage opportunity pursuits and manage production pipeline workflow.
- Identify marketing opportunities including conferences, speaking engagements, and networking.
- Review leases, loans, and engagement letters, and complete ad hoc work as required.
