About the Role
A Calgary-based property and construction client seeks a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and strategic financial analysis. Reporting to CFO and COO, the role partners with Finance and Operations teams to provide financial intelligence for decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple projects and consolidate
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support planning and growth initiatives
- Develop financial models and analyze project performance to support business decisions
- Provide financial analysis and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support strategic planning through forecasting, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Project teams to drive informed decision making
- Assist with financial reporting, continuous process improvements and ERP implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving capabilities
- Experience supporting operational and strategic decision making through financial analysis
- CPA, CPA candidate, CFA, MBA, or equivalent education considered an asset
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, ERP systems, or other reporting and analytics tools considered an asset
- Exposure to construction, real estate, development, project based, or capital intensive industries beneficial but not required

Position Overview
- Our Calgary based property and construction client is seeking a highly analytical and business minded Financial Analyst.
- Reporting directly to CFO and COO, this role will serve as the primary resource for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and strategic financial analysis.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in helping leadership understand future business performance, capital allocation opportunities, and company wide financial trends.
