Role Overview
The Financial Analyst supports the Regional Finance Manager across the Middle East region.
The role covers regional consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, working capital, cash flow, and business partnering.
The role also provides analytical support for strategic finance projects and works with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate stakeholders.
Regional Reporting and FP&A
- Support monthly regional consolidation and management reporting across multiple entities.
- Prepare consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow information.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and investigate consolidation differences.
- Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial projections, dashboards, KPIs, and scenario analysis.
Business Partnering and Cash Flow
- Partner with Operations and project teams on revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow.
- Monitor DSO, DPO, inventory, overdue receivables, liquidity, and cash conversion.
- Identify working capital risks and opportunities and support improvement initiatives.
- Provide financial insights for operational decisions, business cases, project evaluations, and commercial decisions.
Strategic Finance Projects
- Support investment, capital expenditure, expansion, manufacturing, and new business analyses.
- Prepare business cases, financial models, investment projections, and sensitivity analyses.
- Support ADIO grant tracking, reporting, reconciliations, eligible expenditure analysis, and audit support.
- Perform financial due diligence and support goodwill and investment impairment assessments.
- Support regional transformation, finance, and other ad hoc strategic projects.
Process Improvement
- Improve the efficiency, accuracy, automation, data quality, and standardization of regional reporting.
- Develop and enhance Excel-based financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Support improvements to SAP and other ERP or reporting systems.
- Provide finance team coverage and assistance during absences and peak workload periods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management reporting, commercial finance, or audit.
- Strong Excel, financial modelling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with multiple entities or regional operations is preferred.
- Experience in project-based, engineering, manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, or similar industries is advantageous.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or another ERP system is preferred.
