Role Overview
WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the finance team supporting the Middle East.
The role works in close coordination with the Financial Consolidation Manager and the wider finance team.
The position supports business performance review, budget and forecast consolidation, variance analysis, and finance decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and consolidation support for WSP Middle East.
- Prepare monthly management reporting by business unit, country, and entity.
- Identify performance drivers and assess risks and opportunities.
- Analyze major projects and consolidated KPI metrics.
- Prepare management reports and monthly and quarterly business packs.
- Support tools and strategies that translate raw data into business insights.
- Support budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises.
- Support balance sheet review for internal control, governance, and audits.
Qualifications
- CFA, CPA, or CA qualification with at least 3-4 years of financial planning and analysis experience.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or engineering is preferred.
- Strong communication and report writing skills are required.
- Solid applied understanding of general financial analysis concepts is required.
- Strong technical, analytical, and systems skills are required.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and reporting consolidation tools such as Hyperion is required.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize.
