Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and may be performed from anywhere.
- The position requires independent judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $40-$95 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Perform audits of financial records, transactions, and systems to verify integrity and identify risks or irregularities.
- Analyze financial data to detect trends, discrepancies, or inefficiencies and provide recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes.
- Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Proficiency in audit procedures, including risk assessment and internal controls evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
