About the Role
Trisura is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to shape finance platform evolution, lead requirements development, and support NetSuite and NSPB administration. Requires strong BA experience with ERP systems and accounting principles.

Responsibilities
- Lead development of clear, high quality business requirements for finance and accounting systems
- Analyze current and future state processes, perform gap analysis, and recommend scalable solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process refinement and workflow automation
- Produce and maintain high quality documentation including process maps and procedures
- Support rollout and integration of new features across multiple subsidiaries and systems
- Administer and maintain NSPB, including managing budget hierarchies and Essbase configurations
- Perform NetSuite administrative tasks including saved searches, custom reports, workflows, and roles/permissions
Requirements
- Strong experience applying business analysis techniques to complex system implementations, integrations, and enhancements
- Hands on experience with ERP platforms and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
- NSPB administration experience including Essbase configuration and troubleshooting
- Hands on NetSuite administration experience: saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles and permissions
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance processes including forecasting & budgeting
- University degree in Business, Management, Communications or equivalent

About the Role
- At Trisura, we’re scaling a modern specialty insurer and modernizing finance platforms.
- As Finance Systems Analyst, you’ll shape how accounting and finance systems evolve to support growth and automation.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead development of clear, high quality business requirements for finance and accounting systems.
- Analyze current and future state processes, perform gap analysis, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process refinement and workflow automation.
- Produce and maintain high quality documentation, including process maps, procedures, and data/interface specifications.
- Support rollout and integration of new features across multiple subsidiaries and systems.
- Help manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Participate across the full product lifecycle from design through validation and business acceptance testing.
- Build deep knowledge of Trisura’s financial data and support issue investigation.
- Administer and maintain NSPB, including managing budget hierarchies, dimension structures, and Essbase configurations.
- Support Finance through budget season as NSPB subject matter expert.
- Perform NetSuite administrative tasks including saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles and permissions.
Qualifications
- Strong experience applying business analysis techniques to complex system implementations.
- Hands on experience with ERP platforms and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
- NSPB administration experience including Essbase configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands on NetSuite administration experience: saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles and permissions.
- Experience with Oracle products is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance processes including forecasting & budgeting.
- Insurance industry experience is a strong asset.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- University degree in Business, Management, Communications or equivalent.
- NetSuite Administration Certification is a strong asset.
Location
- Downtown Toronto – Hybrid – 4 days per week in office.
Salary
- The expected salary is within the range of CAD 85,000 CAD 120,000.
