Finance Supervisor (Cost Control)

Position Summary

Cost Control and Inventory

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs.
• Maintain organized records and ensure reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
• Post invoices using computer programs.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies and notify management of low stock levels.
• Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and troubleshoot vendor delivery issues.
• Oversee returns and monitor PAR levels for food items.

Team and Compliance

• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across food-related areas.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and serve as a departmental role model or mentor.
• Assign work and ensure tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Report work-related accidents and injuries immediately.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required or specified.
• No license or certification is specified.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

• The position is located at Palm Jumeirah and is not remote.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
