About the Role
OX Human Resources Consultancies is seeking a Settlement Specialist fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English to support settlement operations. The role involves managing end-to-end settlement processes, reconciliations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end settlement processes for client and company transactions
- Monitor daily settlement activities to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, failed transactions, and reconciliation issues
- Collaborate with technology teams to troubleshoot system related settlement issues
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Compliance teams to improve settlement workflows
- Support implementation of new settlement products, payment channels, and operational processes
- Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems, payment providers, exchanges, and banking partners
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
- Monitor settlement risks and escalate operational issues promptly
- Prepare settlement reports, operational metrics, and management dashboards
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and production rollouts for settlement related enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in Settlement Operations, Payment Operations, FinTech, Financial Services, Cryptocurrency, FX, or Banking
- Technical background with ability to understand system architecture, APIs, databases, and operational platforms
- Experience working with payment systems, reconciliation platforms, or transaction processing systems
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with cross functional technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, Python, or data analysis tools is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume operational environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
