Role Overview
Vancity is hiring a Finance Process Automation & AI Intern to improve Finance processes through automation and responsible AI use.
The role is a full-time, four-month internship reporting to the Director, Finance Initiatives.
The position is based at Vancity's head office with a hybrid work arrangement and onsite attendance for events and business demands.

Role overview
Vancity is hiring a Finance Process Automation & AI Intern to improve Finance processes through automation and responsible AI use.
The role is a full-time, four-month internship reporting to the Director, Finance Initiatives.
The position is based at Vancity's head office with a hybrid work arrangement and onsite attendance for events and business demands.
How you will make an impact
- Identify routine or manual Finance processes that may benefit from automation or redesign.
- Document processes, workflows, pain points, and business requirements with Finance team members.
- Research practical uses of AI and automation tools for Finance process efficiency.
- Assist with developing, testing, and refining automation solutions and proof-of-concept tools.
- Analyze information, prepare stakeholder materials, and recommend improvement next steps.
- Support user testing, validation, and monitoring of automation pilots and AI-enabled tools.
Required qualifications
- Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
