About the Role
RSM is seeking a Manager for its Finance Performance Solutions team to lead finance transformation projects. You will manage client engagements, develop business, and mentor teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead execution of projects to optimize finance organization (operating model, process improvement, technology assessment, etc.)
- Drive high quality work within expected timeframes and budget
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep clients informed
- Provide hands on support for accounting month end, data clean up, and accounting standards adoption
- Engage in business development activities and identify new opportunities
- Manage engagement and project financials
- Develop industry specialization and drive targeting and marketing activities
- Build client relationships and deliver quality services
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects and assist clients in uncovering additional opportunities
- Develop new products, solutions, and deliverables
- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 7 years of experience in professional services or CPA firm
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing project teams
- Experience as team lead or project manager on at least one full life cycle technology implementation / finance transformation
- Expert understanding of finance and accounting function
- Subject matter expertise in financial business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, etc.)
- Extensive experience in developing and building proposals
- Ability to travel more than 50% locally and internationally
- CPA or MBA (preferred)
- Experience in Canadian Public Sector, Pension Funds, Real Estate, Insurance, or Private Equity (preferred)

Basic Qualifications

- Expert understanding of finance and accounting function.
- Subject matter expertise in financial business processes.
- Extensive experience in developing and building proposals.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Executive presence and stakeholder management.
- Ability to travel more than 50% locally and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience in Canadian Public Sector, Pension Funds, Real Estate, Insurance, Private Equity.
- Operational, full cycle accounting and finance experience.
- Functional understanding of finance technology/ERP (NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, BlackLine, Workiva, Adaptive Insights, Oracle EPM).
- Understanding of AI applicability to Finance and Accounting.
- Experience in defining systems strategy and implementation.
- Experience in team development.
- Certifications like Six Sigma and/or PMP.
- Experience in post merger integration and carve out initiatives.
Compensation Range
- CAD 98,000 CAD 167,000.
- Eligible for discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
