Finance Operations - Senior Associate

We have an exciting role of Senior Associate - Finance.

You will play a key role in performing standard Accounts Payable activities like invoice processing, indexing, matching etc.

• Processing vendor invoices, Indexing, Matching.

• To be flexible in processing large volumes of invoices during month end.

• Perform 2 way / 3 way matching.

• Hands-on experience in US accounting processes, with a good understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Knowledge of sales tax, including its applicability to transactions and vendor/customer invoices.

• Understanding of use tax and scenarios.

• Ability to determine the tax applicability of tangible and non-tangible goods/services based on relevant tax rules.

• Understanding of acting as a Pay Agent, including processing payments on behalf of clients or business entities and ensuring payments are made as per agreed instructions.

• Knowledge of when a contract is required and the circumstances under which vendor/client agreements need to be established.

• Experience managing shared mailboxes, including monitoring incoming requests, responding to queries, assigning/forwarding emails, tracking pending items, and ensuring timely resolution.

• Set up new vendors in accounting system.

• Vendor Mailbox Support.

• Support month- end processes such as accruals, flux analysis, expense schedule, Recurring JE’s.

• Post Intracompany payables.

• Prepare wire transfer requests.

• Prepare SOP’s, Process Documents and other related docs and have it reviewed.
