Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi under the direction of Finance Head of Department
- Supervise the operations accounting section to ensure optimization of operations and services
- Implement and manage adequate systems, software and controls for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Treasury/cash management, VAT and Payroll Processing
- Ensure accurate and timely payments and collections in compliance with SUAD policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with accepted accounting practices, contractual requirements, and DoF laws and regulations
Requirements
- Experience in financial operations management
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, treasury, VAT, and payroll
- Ability to implement and manage financial systems and controls
- Understanding of DoF laws and regulations
