Job Summary

  • Al Ramz Capital L.L.C is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Head of Finance and Operations with back office operations.
  • Will ensure transactions of the Front Office are carried out appropriately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Will monitor fund movements and be primarily responsible for settlement functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure integrity of financial operations, including auctioning and processing transactions, producing reports, and reconciling balances.
  • Review accounting functions including accounts management, revenue accounting, and collection monitoring.
  • Supervise back office transactions, gather client requirements, follow up with brokers, and check client accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports to support daily trading transactions and provide confirmations to clients.
  • Supervise documentation and ensure controls to prevent insider trading.
  • Review management information reports, formulate commission invoices, and develop periodic reports and financial plans.
  • Monitor credit transactions vis à vis approved limits and submit reports to management.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining MIS and business performance management mechanisms.
  • Provide technical assistance, conduct research on listed securities, managed funds, market conditions, and regulations.
  • Prepare payments for settlement dues, compute daily net broker position, and assist in ensuring settlement obligations are paid.
  • Interact with internal departments, Customer Care Team, Brokerage, and Branch Offices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or Statistics.
  • Professional accounting qualification like ACCA, CPA is preferred.
  • Five (5) years finance, administration, and back office transactions experience in the same industry.

Competencies or Skills

  • Financial and stock market trading business knowledge.
  • High level understanding of back office requirements in the same industry.
  • High level communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Good analytical, judgmental and interpretative skills.
