Role Description

  • Hafeet Capital Limited is an ADGM regulated CAT 3A financial services firm.
  • The Finance Officer will be the key executor and owner of the finance function.
  • This is a full time, on site position based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the day to day finance function.
  • Coordinate with the outsourced accounting / Tax team to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and accounting records.
  • Review and execute payments, invoices, reimbursements, and supporting documentation before approval.
  • Maintain proper financial records and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.
  • Monitor cash balances, bank accounts, client money related flows if applicable, and operational liquidity.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor balances, invoices, and internal records.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Track actual expenses against approved budgets.
  • Provide clear financial analysis and reporting to Senior Management.
  • Highlight financial risks, cost overruns, process gaps, or unusual transactions.
  • Support cost control and financial planning discussions.
  • Own finance related regulatory reporting and submissions.

Must Have Criteria

  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Direct experience with an ADGM regulated company is required.
  • Experience in brokerage, asset management, fund management, investment firms, custody, or similar regulated financial institutions.
  • Ability to manage the finance function independently in a small company setup.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting, prudential reporting, capital adequacy, or finance related regulatory submissions.
  • Experience with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, payments, reconciliations, financial reporting, and management reporting.
  • Excel expert.
  • Professional communication skills in English.

Strong Advantages

  • DIFC experience.
  • Big 4, audit, advisory, or financial services consulting background.
  • ACCA, CFA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience with Odoo or similar ERP/accounting systems.
  • Arabic language.
