Hafeet Capital Limited seeks a mature Finance Officer to independently manage the finance function, including operations, budgeting, liquidity, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage the day to day finance function
- Coordinate with outsourced accounting/tax team for accurate bookkeeping and accounting records
- Review and execute payments, invoices, reimbursements, and supporting documentation
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready
- Monitor cash balances, bank accounts, client money related flows, and operational liquidity
- Ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor balances, invoices, and internal records
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Track actual expenses against approved budgets
- Provide clear financial analysis and reporting to Senior Management
- Highlight financial risks, cost overruns, process gaps, or unusual transactions
- Own finance related regulatory reporting and submissions
- Coordinate with auditors during annual audits, interim reviews, and other assurance exercises
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience
- Direct experience with an ADGM regulated company
- Experience in brokerage, asset management, fund management, investment firms, custody, or similar regulated financial institutions
- Ability to manage the finance function independently in a small company setup
- Experience with regulatory reporting, prudential reporting, capital adequacy, or finance related regulatory submissions
- Experience with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, payments, reconciliations, financial reporting, and management reporting
- Excel expert
- Professional communication skills in English

Role Description
- Hafeet Capital Limited is an ADGM regulated CAT 3A financial services firm.
- The Finance Officer will be the key executor and owner of the finance function.
- This is a full time, on site position based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the day to day finance function.
- Coordinate with the outsourced accounting / Tax team to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Review and execute payments, invoices, reimbursements, and supporting documentation before approval.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.
- Monitor cash balances, bank accounts, client money related flows if applicable, and operational liquidity.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor balances, invoices, and internal records.

Must Have Criteria
