Role Overview
The Finance MIS Analyst collects, analyzes, and reports financial and operational data to support management decision-making.
The role translates complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
- Create and automate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc MIS reports.
- Build interactive KPI dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare profitability and efficiency reports.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data.
- Present reports, findings, and recommendations to management.
- Identify workflow and operational-efficiency improvements through data analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong ability to analyze complex data and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to manage large datasets and ensure data quality.
