- Oversee day to day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the podcast and related activities
- Prepare and review financial statements, track expenses and revenues
- Support sponsorship and partnership financial analysis
- Ensure accurate accounting records
- Coordinate with external service providers
- Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Provide strategic financial insights to support growth decisions

- Applied Analytical Skills for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data driven decision making

- Auditing capabilities for internal reviews, controls assessment, and ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Experience in part time or agile roles, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a small, creative team environment
- Familiarity with financial tools and accounting software; proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting dashboards
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non finance stakeholders

Role Description
- The Finance Manager at Mere MERCHANTS Podcast will oversee day to day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the podcast and related activities.
- This is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on site collaboration and work from home flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, tracking expenses and revenues.
- Support sponsorship and partnership financial analysis.
- Ensure accurate accounting records.
- Coordinate with external service providers.
- Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support growth decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong core finance skills, including Finance and Financial Services knowledge relevant to media or retail focused businesses.
