Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day finance and accounting operations including banks, AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of financial statements
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS)
- Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks
- Coordinate external audits and manage audit related documentation
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; perform variance analysis
- Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and payment cycles
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and cost optimization
- Lead, train, and mentor the finance team
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, CA)
- Minimum 7 10 years of progressive finance experience
- At least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of UAE statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS)
- Proven experience in general trading or import/export industries
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in ERP implementation and process improvement

Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of our trading company in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day finance and accounting operations.
- Supervise banks, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, etc.).
- Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate external audits and manage audit related documentation.
- Monitor adherence to company policies and risk management guidelines.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; perform variance analysis.
