About the Role

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for accurate financial reporting, IFRS compliant financial statements, tax filings (VAT, CIT, ESR, CbCR), and coordination with auditors.
- Supervision of accounting entries, monthly and annual closings, reconciliations, fixed assets, and administration of Sage ERP including data accuracy and system controls.
- Design, implementation, and periodic review of internal controls, business processes, and risk mitigation measures across head office and assigned regions.
- Oversight of accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, payment approvals, cash management, intercompany balances, and coordination with banks.
- Preparation of management reports, budgets, variance analysis, supervision of branch finance teams, and providing financial insights to CFO and senior management.
Requirements
- CA/ACCA Qualified
- 5 10 years in similar role
- English language – Fluent
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and financial management practices
- Ability to analyze financial data, review reconciliations, manage budgets and variances
- Capability to supervise finance teams and coordinate with branches, auditors, banks, and management
- Strong working knowledge of Sage ERP, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and system based financial controls
- Practical knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, ESR, CbCR, and local regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Internal Controls & Process Improvement – Design, implementation, and periodic review of internal controls, business processes, and risk mitigation measures across head office and assigned regions.
- Cash Flow, AR/AP & Banking Management – Oversight of accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, payment approvals, cash management, intercompany balances, and coordination with banks.
- Management Support & Regional Oversight – Preparation of management reports, budgets, variance analysis, supervision of branch finance teams, and providing financial insights to CFO and senior management.
Requirements
- Education: CA/ACCA Qualified
- 5–10 years in similar role
- English language – Fluent
- Financial & IFRS Expertise Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and financial management practices applicable to multinational logistics operations, statutory compliance (VAT, CIT, audits), and end to end accounting control.
- Analytical & Control Skills Ability to analyze financial data, review reconciliations, manage budgets and variances, and design effective internal controls.
- Leadership & Communication Skills Capability to supervise finance teams, coordinate with branches, auditors, banks, and management, and communicate clearly on complex financial matters.
- ERP & Financial Systems Knowledge Strong working knowledge of Sage ERP, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and system based financial controls.
- Taxation & Regulatory Compliance Practical knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, ESR, CbCR, and local regulatory requirements across assigned regions.
