Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven
Finance Manager
to lead and oversee the entire finance function of the business.
This is a standalone leadership role responsible for financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and operational finance.
You will act as a key business partner to leadership, providing financial insights that drive decision-making, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations including AR, AP, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with UAE regulations
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital
Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
- Provide financial insights to support business growth and investment decisions
- Develop financial models for new projects, commissions, and expansion strategies
- Analyze revenue streams, sales performance, and cost structures
- Support pricing strategies and commission frameworks for sales teams
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
- Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and corporate tax requirements
- Manage VAT filings, audits, and financial controls
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies
Process Development
- Build and implement scalable financial systems and processes
- Improve reporting automation and data accuracy
- Introduce best practices for financial governance and risk management
Leadership & Ownership
- Act as the sole point of responsibility for the finance function
- Collaborate with founders/management on strategic planning
- Support future hiring and scaling of the finance team
Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in finance/accounting
- Experience in real estate, brokerage, or property development is highly preferred
- Prior experience managing finance independently or in a standalone role
- UAE experience and knowledge of local regulations is essential
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent)
Skills
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of VAT and UAE financial regulations
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
