About the Role
Lobo Offshore Recruitment & Maritime Services LLP is seeking a Finance Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Qatar. The manager will oversee financial operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow monitoring, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and relevant accounting standards
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners as needed
- Develop and enhance internal controls
- Supervise finance staff
- Optimize costs
- Support management with financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards
Requirements
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS or similar
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis
- Experience in cash flow management, working capital control, and treasury activities
- Knowledge of tax laws, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks, preferably within the GCC region
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar)
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, and communicate financial information clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly preferred
