WALCO MIDDLE EAST seeks a Finance Manager in Doha to oversee financial planning, cost control, project financial management, and compliance. Requires strong financial accountability and reporting skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and budgeting
- Implement cost control and profitability measures
- Establish approval workflows for all expenditures and ensure every expense is supported by valid business justification
- Hold department heads accountable for budget overruns
- Monitor project profitability, review project invoices, claims, and payment milestones
- Identify cost overruns early and recommend corrective actions
- Manage receivables and payables, ensure timely collection from clients, optimize vendor payments
- Ensure compliance and risk management
- Review major purchase requests, verify commercial terms and pricing, ensure procurement follows approved budgets and company policies
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and management dashboards
- Establish accountability through cost ownership by each department and use KPIs to monitor financial discipline
- Ensure no payment is processed without proper documentation and approvals
Requirements
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and financial accountability
- Experience in project financial management, monitoring profitability, and reviewing invoices and claims
- Knowledge of cash flow management, receivables, and payables
- Experience in compliance and risk management
- Experience in procurement and contract review
- Ability to prepare monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and management dashboards
